The Retiro Park, located in Madrid, is one of Spain’s grandest attractions. Beautiful promenades and pathways wind through it, there is a quiet lake, stunning memorials and sculptures as well as numerous festivities and fun happenings.

It was once the site of a royal palace and has housed many culturally and historically significant buildings both prior to and since it was first opened to the public in 1868.
