Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic says his eight years at the club was “the best part of his life” after playing his final game at Old Trafford in a 3-1 win over Hull City .

The Serbian defender announced in March that he would join Inter Milan on a free transfer in the summer and play in Italy’s Serie A next season.
