The launch of Amob:FC (wap.amobfc.com) coincides with the start of the Premiership season and is initially offered by Acme Mobile’s Amob portal in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, and Thailand. This ad-sponsored and subscription service features news stories, photos, live action and match statistics, and will be billed directly through 10 regional mobile operators.
As ironies go, this one’s pretty good given the full spectrum of their acronym, and all, even if it’s no longer surprising.
Everyone knows that the BBC’s decision to broadcast their Panorama expose just two days before the vote hurt their chances.
