  • najbolji defetivno veznjak na cjelom svijetu

  • Lukaaaaaaaa im Croatian !

  • I wonder what Gabi thinks about Modric now?

  • The man is a beast! I'm from Croatia and he is the best we've had in a long time, but there are many people that don't like him so much. And it's all because the media is overpumpimg news about him, I mean all kind of rubbish from trainings and stuff.. so one would get the feeling that he's maybe obtrusive overrated star. Also, the atmosphere around our national team and Federation is shit which also has an influence.

But he's not, he had his true way of the kross, got rejected in Hajduk because he was small and weak, they said. Then signing with rival Dinamo only to be sent out on loans in modest Bosnia and Croatia clubs, but he showed extraordinary class right away and then with around 20 years old, lead the best Dinamo to three champion crowns in a row, proved himself in Totteham, went to Real, been titled as the worst summer transfer of 2012, but again, silenced critics and proved himself, won two Champions leagues and numerous individual awards. And all along the way, stayed a true, humble sportsman with respect for everybody.

He simply initiates attacks, controls the rythm with fast moves and sprint with ball in his feet, opens up defences and flanks with his accurate passes, has a great shot and also, puts a great pressure on opponent's possesion and has an amazing tackling skill. When he was substituted, it was 5-0. It ended 5-2. When he was substituted in Croatia – Czech Republic on Euro 2016, the result was 2-0 for Croatia in 62. minute. It ended 2-2. He is simply an upgrade for any team of this planet. A true allrounded midfielder. One of the last of the kind in football…
